Domesticating Global Health - Part One of a Four Part Series
What is Global Health?  How does Global Health benefit Washington’s Life Science community and the state’s economy?  What are the opportunities to partner and leverage our innovation economy to further all of our missions?

Want to know the answers to these and many other questions about Global Health and its impact on our community?

Join us for this first of four panel discussions in our Domesticating Global Health Series.

You don’t want to miss this program. The first part of this series will present the first public forum of the Washington Global Health Alliance’s (WGHA) “Global Health Mapping Study.”  This study will describe the impact that the Global Health community is already having on our state.

Come and hear our panel of experts:

  • Lisa Cohen, Director, Washington Global Health Alliance
  • Randal Hassler, Vice President, Operations & Finance, Seattle Biomedical Research Institute
  • Bonnie Berk, President, Berk & Associates
  • John Gardner, VP, Economic Development & Global Engagement, Washington State University
  • Chris Rivera, President, WBBA - Moderator
Present and discuss:
  • The breadth and depth of Washington’s Global Health sector
  • The impact that the WGHA is making in education, training and research
  • An overview of their national and international partnerships
  • The types of projects the WGHA is focused on
  • Why you should care about Global Health
  • Why our Global Health community is a strategic asset and partner for the WBBA!

This must attend event and series will answer many of your questions, and help you share in the excitement and opportunities that Washington’s life science community has in front of us.

You'll not want to miss the overview or the rest of the series:
